What we have lost in the NHS is a sense of what it is to be human and what makes sense in certain situations. The system is designed to process people and to achieve targets. Its neither national – as all parts of the UK have different emphasis or ways of providing health care, its not about health but sickness and I do not believe its a service designed and for by and with its clients.
If we could change the language, conversation etc we might have a beginning- but turning around a juugernaut or reinventing the concept to creating health and wellbeing in a holistic sense is a different model
